How do I keep altox running after unlocking and opening

Hi,

So finally got my altox up and running ( after 2 years getting around to it ) and all set up to use the app. All works brilliantly and as expected.

The only thing I’m not sure on is how to make it keep running when I’ve unlocked it and opened a door. I’ve been looking through the manual and the only thing I can see is “stop heater when errors WBUS” which is currantly set to on or 1 when I check. Can anybody tell me if this is the correct setting to change, or change another one or I’d it not possible. I can always change it but costs me a text to change it and then another to change it back so thought I would ask on here before I play about. I might email altox as well and see what there response is.

Thanks for the help.

Pete.

You can't, once the car wakes, the FBH is shut down Thumbs Up

No getting around that I'm afraid

That is a pity, I think it would be a good feature. I’m I right in thinking the BAS controller can keep control overs the heater once it’s been unlocked or is that something I dreamt about? Lol

Nope, no controller can override the LR software.

I have both fitted in my D4 Thumbs Up

Hmm I wonder if mine is working correctly

I started the heater o na 30 min cycle with the Altox yesterday then 10 mins later opened the car and drove for around 5 mins. parked up, 5 mins shopping and when I came back to the car the FBH was still running as were the heater fans

If you simply started the car cold the FBH would start and run for 20 minutes or so until engine was warm (LR Software) so why would it not run post an Altox pre start fire up assuming its not yet up to full temperature?

(In other words if the Altox Start has only been running 5 minutes and the engine was still relatively cold would the Land Rover software not kick in and restart the FBH on ignition until warm?)

Hi,
I understand that the LR firmware is overriding the ALTOX Wbus signal when opening the doors.
But, if awaken the car (by opening the doors) is a way to stop the FBH, WHY there is a non-latching button provided with my ALTOX box?
For using this manual FBH/ALTOX swich, I need obviously to be INSIDE teh car...so it doesn't work.
Am I wrong or something?
I wich to manualy swich on the FBH via the ALTOX button (it works already fine by SMS).

Tanks, and sorry for my poor english (I m from france). Mr. Green Mr. Green
