Land Rover Experience Best Center |
|
Helo,
When I bought my LR3 I have been offered a invitation to a half day Land Rover Experience.
Could you please tell me what would be the best Land Rover Experience center to go to?
By the way I am living South West of London.
As Solihull is the nest of LR is that also the best one to go to?
Thanks for your help Arno

Well in France you get a day.
I have insisted like mad for having a day. The seller was so upset that at the end he told me "it is half a day or nothing"

A test drive! Yes but only 1 hour or 2 hours. I have tried to get it for the week end but did not work.
Anycase, it is better than nothing. I will also be able to bring my wife to that half day ( ) "training" Arno

I went on the LR website, it seams that if you are taking the half day course in Solihull, and they include a visit of the factory.
Has anyone done it?
Is it worth it?
Don t worry 10forcash, I am still considering the East of England one. Arno

suprised you got the voucher post-sale though, they're only supposed to be used for prospective sales The dealers can / do get their balls chewed if they're caught handing them out as a sales sweetener

10forcash,
Are you joking? In my case it was a sweetener price....
In fact I got it after the sales; it was a sort of, “winning price†that I got for buying the car.
It says on the voucher
“An Invitation to take your seat
You have been awarded a complimentary half day land rover experience.â€
I need to book it in the next 28 days… otherwise it will expiry! Arno

nope, not joking - the format of the 1/2 day is 60-90 mins of on-road driving followed by 45-75 mins of off-road driving, it's designed to demonstrate the features and abilities of the vehicles both on and off road. Clearly, if it was mainly for existing owners then there would be more of an off-road bias (as used to be the case) as most owners would be familiar with the on-road handling, controls and features....
Still, most centres are flexible enough to 'adapt' the time available

TFC - that's what your missus told you is it? LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
