Fuel Burning Heater Fault

my FBH doesn't work and don't think its ever worked to be honest,
I have connected up my Nanocom and done the prime set up and fauly diagnosis test but it don't show any faults it starts up smokes like very bad then shuts down.
Any body know what could be wrong?
Thanks Ash

I know there are a ton of threads on this very topic.... but mine was identical to yours.

The cure for me was to go out on a cold morning when it would normally kick in due to temp.

Open the bonnet and start the car. Wait for the FBH to gurgle and try to start - then I blew air into the inlet by blowing down the inlet tube. Imagine you are trying to start a fire my blowing on the embers....

Hopefully you will hear it fire and start to burn.......

Once it has had a good run, it should have cleared some of the crud from inside and fire itself the next time.

I did mine a few weeks ago.... and since then its fired every time.

Hope this helps

SP Thumbs Up
