Engine System Fault
G’Day All
Have a 2015 D4 TDV6 and noticed that “Engine System Fault” and red Icon flashes up for an instant when accelerating hard to merge with traffic in the mornings.

The car does not miss a beat and continues to accelerate smoothly?
Lots of posts up but they tend to break down into all sorts of tangent issues.
Has anyone had this - could it be because the engine is cold?
I have to get it fixed because I am planning a trip through the Simpson Desert and then up to Cape York
Any suggestions?Land Rovers never get bogged! - merely delayed
Land Rovers never break down! - merely fail to proceed.
Land Rovers never leak oil - it’s a built in anti-rust feature

Sorry to hear of your problem; I hope someone will be along shortly who can help.
Sometimes it is unavoidable, but I would suggest that you should avoid regularly accelerating hard when the engine is cold.
