Parts from O.S.
Only new to the Land rover world, but once again I have been amazed at the price disparity between here and overseas for car parts.
I thought I may as well fit some body side moldings to minimise car park damage form rogue shopping trolleys and flailing doors.
Dealer price in Oz: $438 (btw, that's supply only, not fitted)
Landed at my door air freight from USA: ~$150
Hmm, what to do??? Needless to say the $280 difference will be staying in my pocket, maybe to be spent on further bits.
If anyone form LRA would care to justify this rip off please feel free to respond. Just don't give me any bull$#!] about overheads, import duty, blah, blah as it just doesn't wash.
Go to http://roverconnection.com/ for more info. I also picked up the cubby box tray, looks like it'll come in handy for coins etc.

Landrover has repositiond itself as luxury car brand and the consequence is, guess what..? Wait till you take your truck in for it's regular service. On the other hand, you get what you pay for!'06 Disco 3 TDV6 SE Buckingham Blue

I'm not complaining about the service costs, they're free for the next 3 years.

Just got the high level stop light from the large one.
Much cheaper.

Parts were at the front door this morning. Took a week and a bit.
After looking at the side moldings "in the flesh" I cannot believe LRA have the gall to charge $400+ for these.
