Air suspension set up, how to calibrate to factory heights.
Ive got the IID tool.
I made the mistake of tinkering with the height calibration and now am in a pickle - i cant seem to reset the suspension to the factory height (for my L320 its 461mm front 465mm rear)
Both my rear wheel are at different heights. I cant seem to make sence of the IID bluetooth tool, i have a samsung phone and the 180 page manual does not reflect my L320 in anyway -
I know how to adjust the heights but this is front or rear or all - i wanted to set each corner to the correct height.
Can anyone help? Ive tryed to restore the original settings but my rears seem higher then it should be, and not level

Im in a mess with this as i didnt make a note of existing settings. When i try to calibrate there rear is stupidly high up. So only way to get it close to what it shoulr be was to drop the rear height to the max.
Is there anyone near bristol that can set this up for me? I use my truck to tow a caravan so am worried about its set up now.

My sus heights are 461mm front, 465mm rear as its a L320.
I have the 180 page manual infront of me, as far as i see it i needed my baseline settings to adjust from (these i didnt take note of) and when i try an "calibrate" i try and set the heights which i cant seem todo. I have to adjust the settings a fair amount to get it to move and then i cant seem to fine tune it.
Is it a case of my wasting my time doing this? Should i make a small change and then check after a few days of driving it?
Does anyone now how i should reset my height setting to (have the rear height max low. Is it +29 to get it to "normal"?

Yes. I have done this a few times. Just done it now. I think it restores the original logged calibration data. I think im getting in a muddle as it must have been some 20mm plus higher in the rear than it should have been before.
If i want to just change the rear other then just changing the rear height, do i just change the calibration numbers for the rear a small amout. One side at a time? (Just tryed this but i quicky ended up near the low 150 limit.) So have opted to lower the rear down for now, which doesnt seem right.

Sounds like you are using the old software, if you have “Installer” installed on your computer delete it and install “Installer 2” from the GAP website, then go to downloads and down load and install the latest software onto your tool, you will find it a breeze to set your suspension up with it, your original settings will not be lost although they may not be correct.It can when others can't,

I thought i installed some software to the OBD plug, but didnt know or check if it was the laterst type.
This is somthing i will check asap.

the L320 set up should be:
Front - 461mm
Rear - 465mm
will my control ecu aim for these heights?

You don’t install it to the OBD socket, you install it on your Iid tool, then plug your Iid into the OBD socket.
With the latest software you start with the NS front measure with a tape and adjust accordingly
, move to OS front measure and adjust, OS rear ditto, NS rear ditto = job done It can when others can't,

WOW. Just wow.
I have installed the correct latest software and its so easy to use esp if your not tech'y like me.
Set us suspension in minutes. My rear was so heigh. Its all how it should be. Handles so much better now.
