Its finally happening
If you can remind me when you get a mo how to remove the rear panel and in what order that would be useful as im sure its similar to the D3 but my memory doesnt function that far back in any detail nowadays
I will need to remove the baskets and sliding floor first, not to mention all the junk I lug around with me on a daily basis.
Update us Andy when you get a little further on with it D4 HSE Lux MY16 Club Waitomo

Will do pal. Although it’s turning out to be a labour of love, need to order some additional bits and pieces. Plus SWMBO has just invented some jobs for me to do in the garden
Oh well it will get done when it’s done D4 MY15 SE TECH

I know that feeling...Ive been assigned to gutters, facia boards, soffits and windows front and back next week. Oh and she wants the drive and patio jet washing which will leave very little disco time I think
Rear panel removal IIRC rear door and tailgate area rubber seal removal, seatbelt bolt, tailgate bolt and clips isnt it? Have I forgot anything?D4 HSE Lux MY16 Club Waitomo

Well a couple of these turned up today. These will be mounted on the side of the rack to use when I’ve got the awning in use. Should get them fitted tomorrow with any luck.

Also started work on a new rear power panel. This isn’t the final layout as I’ve tweaked it a bit.

That’s made using some sort of plastic material. Using this as a template only as it’s a bit flimsy and marks very easy. I’ve got a sheet of 6mm MDF so will make the “production” model out of that. Then I’ll wrap it in a black leather look vinyl to try and match the original trim.
Mounted the lights as well. Just having a cuppa then I’ll go and connect them up

With change as well
I paid £130 for the pair delivered. The rear light is the same so I now have to three of these. Must admit for the size they are quite impressive D4 MY15 SE TECH
