Here we go again, the same 5 lads as last year plus Tayaste (Stephen )and Mick Flack. We are all meeting on Sunday at inverness and then starting Monday morning. We are going to do it the other way round this year so up the East along the North and down the West coast. We are also taking a little longer this time with a planned overnight camp on Skye. Lets hope the weather is a little better this time around

You’ll be lucky, the weather and forecast is awful. Low cloud, rain and windy. A couple of weeks ago it was great - that was the summer.
Are you staying at that Culloden Camp Site first night?
No Ardtower I think its called. We stayed there last year on the way up and down. As for the weather anything can happen, last year in one day we had snow in the morning,wet windy weather at lunchtime and beautiful blue skys in the afternoon then rained all night The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;

Good luck guys, we are very jealous. We were there last year too and crossed paths several times (we were in a Freelander 2 at the time, but don’t hold that against us)

Absolutely fantastic trip, but I did it in this
Great piece of kit to do it in... anyone know where the picture was taken ?

Too easy for you Dundonian.
I think I will do it again but in my D3, as I could not reach all areas because of the size of the Motorhome.
Maybe with your crew if you go another year Mark, anyway enjoy it and i hope the weather is kind to you.
