The Royals have been product placing for LR for donkeys years. Lets just remember we'd all be driving around in LRs (even the D5s) if we didn't have to pay or deal with their faults.
Yes, a Daily Mail article but I think it does explain the *special* relationship between the Royals and LR.

The local rugby players get to use "free" Land Rovers, only Discovery's I think, I've not yet seen them driving any other models. Land Rover sponsor them.
The "product placement", as shown in the video clip is worth £ millions. Particularly for the US & China LR sales, or so I'm told by those in advertising.

The rugby lads used to have D4 HSE Luxury and then Landmark models, I don't know what engine their D5's have. Does it say on the back? I don't like to look there if I can help it
