Help diagnosing P023D-22 issue please!
Intermittent limp mode, usually slow speed pulling away very sudden but not max revs by any means. The error that comes up on IID (but only if you check advanced settings) is as follows:
Cleaned MAP sensor (was pretty clean).
Checked MAF sensor (looks clean to me, will look for some MAF spray anyway).
Checked intercooler hoses as far as a I can, no obvious splits, clips that I can get to seem tight (new blue silicon hoses a few years ago, so unlikely to be the problem?).
The top hose is a little greasy though, is this normal?
Engine is otherwise nice and clean, although the hose going into the radiator seems pretty gungy.
There seems to be a leak of some kind, seems oily to me, underneath left side (this is a LHD Disco).
It's either the FBH (which is on the blink) or perhaps an intercooler leak which might explain the error?
I just took it for a quick spin around the block, values as follows, start, 2k revs in N, driving uphill slowly, stopped. MAF etc seems to work normally, temps seem within a few degrees of each other.
Any wisdom much appreciated, will take a closer look at intercooler later just ran out of time before a meeting.

P023D-22 is low boost pressure. Looking for a boost leak, the oily stains are the first place to look My D3 Build Thread

I suspect an actuator issue as the error implies max values seen on the MAP sensor.
This is what the workshop manual has to say for that code:
Check the intake air system. Check the turbocharger
mechanical condition and operation. Check for DTCs
indicating a listed sensor fault. Rectify as necessary.
Using a data logger function, monitor the
turbocharger actuator position and command the
actuator to 5% pulse width modulated (PWM), then
95% pulse width modulated (PWM) in 5% steps.
Check the results. There should be a smooth curve
between the minimum and maximum values. If not,
install a new turbocharger. Clear the DTCs and test
for normal operation.

So...diagram suggest the greasy pipes on the rad are the transmission oil cooler pipes.
I'm going to dig around, clean everything up, check levels and see what leaks again.
Any other tips in the interim appreciated.

I am having this very problem. Did you solve it?
Any tips you can give would be a great help!!
I took everything air intake related apart and put it back together again, checked air filter, cleaned MAP sensor, had my garage do a pressure check on the intercooler and hoses, replaced a wheel hub/bearing that started squeaking and have generally driven it hard. I replaced fuse 17 just to be sure. So far so good, error has not reoccurred. I have also put in more motorway miles and have added some Wynns EGR cleaner and injector cleaner.
Can't be more precise than that I'm afraid, usually Discovery technique of fiddle with everything and pray you fixed it.

Check the turbo actuator rod is not seized, do a search on the board, there is a how to!..
