Hi guys, I joined the failed altenator club yesterday 
A couple of quick questions if i may?
1. The battery was totally dead so ive charged it over night and stuck a load test on it and it appears ive managed to rescue it. If it fails will it damaged the new altenator?
2. After removing the altenator and insulating the wires is it ok to refit the battery just so i can lock and unlock the car?
Appreciate any advice
