Of course, you shouldn't have that light, as you don't have a fuel burning heater fitted!

Of course I don't have an FBH that's fitted and works when cold automatically... its just my imagination... and the light is of course not there either... and never lights up when I start the car...

The only times I see this light are a) when I use the settings menu to set pre-heat - it then flashes for a few seconds when I remove the key,and b) when the pre-heater comes on - it comes on constant whilst the heater is operating, but goes out as soon as the engine is started.

My light just seems to come on during ignition cycle... ie like a check light. But don't think it always does. Depends on temperature outside or if engine is already warm I guess ?

Don't tell LR CS about the light - they'll want to remove it It goes through a self test at start up; then only time it comes on is with the pre-heater (stays on for a short while when timer first programmed, and then comes on constantly while the pre-heater is running); it does not come on when the webasto is just providing auxiliary engine heating, only on the timer function - all of which goes to show that the timer is meant to be there but is defective!
