Well I'm sure there'll be a few of of you doing this '' when yuo read this, but SWMBO and I have decided that buying our dream house is more important than keeping the D4, so we have decided to sell it and release funds to help pay for the house
I have today paid a deposit on a FL2 2014, so staying in the LR family, but downsizing for a year or so while we focus on the house.
Details:
Land Rover Discovery HSE Luxury SDV6 Auto in Santorini Black (Ad-Blue Version)
Currently on 55,529 miles, but this will go up a little as used daily
Registered date: 24th September 2015 (So still under LR warranty)
Comes with all the toys you would expect to have with the Lux model:
- Read DVD's + 2x headphones and controller
- 2 sets of keys
- TV & DAB radio
- Keeless entry & Start/Stop
- Windsor Leather in Black
- 5 cameras (including reversing)
- Bi-xenons & Daylight running LED's
- Single Tow Electrics, Tow hitch holder & Removeable Tow hitch itself (+3 keys)
- Flappy paddles
- Heated steering wheel
- Timed Climate
- + all the other bits and bobs that come with the Lux
Also included are:
- 4 Month old set of Prospeed Rock Sliders & Plastic inserts (Cost me £900 or so)
- Set of Non OEM Roof Bars
- Trans K9 Dog Crate (If needed, otherwise will sell separately)
- Rear Loadspace cover (Not used but will be included)
- Original premier LR D4 Full set of Mats (I've not used, only stored)
- Drivers and rear seating rubber floor mats
- Plastic Boot map (Seen better days, but still does the job)
- Mantec Load Lugger (£200?)
- Full size Spare & Uncle Ray Spare wheel protector (Ad-Blue version)
- It still has the Disco jack, but I'll throw in the D2 bottle jack that I carry around in it also
Finally, if I get the asking price, I will throw in a Altox tracker and mobile controlled 'Pre-heating' module thingy (£300+), which allows you to track the car, as well as set and run the FBH on the car
Condition is excellent, although there are a few little scratches on the front two alloys (On the lacquer) from the last Scotland holiday, as well as the odd little minor scratch (tiny) on the body. Notice the driver side treadplate, where boots have scuffed it (Trying to be fully open and honest).
I've covered the rear tailgate in rubber to protect it from the dogs (See in pics)
I am the 2nd owner, original owner owned a garage, so servicing was done there, but the last service was done by me at Guy Salmon Land Rover, Bristol:
1st Service = 3rd June 2016
2nd Service = 6th March 2017
3rd Service = 11th Dec 2017 (48k mile service @LR Bristol)
I'm picking the Freelander up on the 29th June, so will need the cash in my bank by the weekend of the 22nd June at the latest, or it will go to WBAC, who have actually given me a pretty good price. And I'll strip off everything first before selling on here
Price = £33,000 with all the above included
Please pm me if interested, or dibs here followed by PM
Contribution to forum if sold here also

Sure this isn’t making way for another trailer?
Houses are more important than cars so wise decision, GLWS.
At least the house will go up in value and not down like the car. Glwts Iggy The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
They just make the best of everything they have.

Loads of photographs now added
As for the FL2, it's a 2014 HSE, half the price of the D4, so freeing up valuable 'Stamp' duty funds
2 years LR warranty & breakdown also
Really loved the test drive today (Will share pics, when I pick it up )Iggy/Ieuan

emo)
The only time that I ever bought a new car (ex demo) was a signal orange RS 2000 in 1978.
Then had to sell it 6 months later to buy my first house for £9,950 as in those days there was no such thing as a morgage if you worked abroad

Am I asking too much? Of course i understand not all will want all the kit, so
£31,000 without kit (Will include spare wheel protector & Tow hitch)
£32000 with everything included (except dog crate)
I've had dibs on the crate so will be sold separately Iggy/Ieuan
