From the looks, they appear to clip behind the grill and front wing [similar to the light guards].
Are they water/dirt tight?
If not, how would you clean between the light and cover [as, on that basis, they won't be easy to remove]? ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Disagree somewhat...paintwork and branches do not mix.. true...but the headlamp outer is very, very tough and resiliant to scratches ....and trees....When I hit one at 15mph the outer wasn't marked 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I did that too back in the day - 77 camaro - until the police made me take them off
I've considered getting the 3M clear film, but that's as far as it's gone...not sure if it's a waste of money or not.

Few months back did the whole works with the clay, polish (Meguiar's Deep Crystal), & 2 coats of wax (Meguiar's Gold Class) with a buffer. Now I just wash it with Meguiar's Gold Class car wash & give it a final wipe down with a terry towel & he sparkles back up - even after mud days. Good stuff.
