French motorway payment badge ( Telepeage )

Hi Guys,
Just been notified by my motorway company that the payment system has been extended to Italy, Spain, and Portugal. However the free replacement for the new detector is only open for a short time after which there is an additional charge.
Hope this is helpful.
P.

Just been looking at that, only cost would be the €11 activation fee. Just not sure when I'll next be using the French peage, never mind Spain, Portugal & Itlay. Sad

PS I may be reading that wrong and the activation fee was done many years ago. Confused

What’s the web address to go to Del? I’m in France now and only have my iPhone with me. Could do with sorting this out as have two euro road trips this summer.

Here ya go. http://www.aprr.fr/fr/telepeagelibert/particuliers/offre-topeurop

I found Google Translate app fantastic for working through it. Whistle

The easiest way to get one would prob be to drop into one of their customer service centres, will dig out the links but I think they are in one geographical area. Thumbs Up

Maybe not, Lyon and points east. Sad http://www.aprr.fr/fr/services-sur-aires/s...eseau=AREA

ISTR when I got mine i went for APRR as they accepted UK CCs and we're happy to post to a UK address. Still looks similar but when I did it the system had an issue with the postcode so I just did 00000. Whistle

I don't know how long these tags last (internal battery) but mine is pushing 9 years old so will be good to have a new one, especially as I don't have to pay for it. Whistle

APRR don't charge for a replacement if the battery has failed. Ours went last summer - intermittent performance on a handful of barriers, then failed completely so had to hand it over to someone in the toll booth to scan the bar code for the rest of the trip. Requested a new one from APRR and they sent it through with a condition that I return the faulty one within 30 days or they would charge.

All went fine, new doofer arrived, old doofer returned, no cash changed hands. Thumbs Up

So Peters, is the new one replacing the current version in France as well, or will my 2017 issued one remain valid for the foreseeable?

EDIT: My normal Liber-T badge remains valid for France but I need the new top-europ! badge for all three countries.
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

The link seems to confirm Spain and Portugal but not Italy?

Nodosh
If battery fails it’s replaced free at any telepage office!
Your 2017 doffer is valid for the the future but does not have additional countries.
There are 2 options one with Italy and one without but they both have France,Portugal and Spain. There is 2 different prices for the future.
Good luck.

I had the choice of Fr, Po & Es (FEP), and those three plus It (FEPI) when I did the order replacement tag bit. I thought I'd selected FEP but the email said FEPI so looks like I have the full works. It'll prob give those choices when ordering a new tag account. Thumbs Up
