I have a new HSE which, according to the specification on the Poland website, has as standard the premium sat nav. Leaving aside the vexed question of the missing cds for the maps, I do not have the 4x4 info. Another chap I know here with the same model also does not have the 4x4 information sysyem. Does this mean that Land Rover have fitted the wrong sat nav or is it merely an example of a reduced spec for an HSE export model, as discusse elsewhere on the forum? Any thoughts greatefully received.
BTW, after three days I find the D3 fanatastic

It's amazing how the specs differ. Here in SA we don't get the service interval indicator (huh why not ) and heated seats and the FBH . I guess the last 2 I can understand because of our milder winters .

It is - somebody at Land Rover must have full time job mixing up the HSE specs for different countries! I do have the cold climate pack (it was -6c this morning, the car was covered in snow and started without a problem) which I imagine is not really needed in South Africa.

Don't feel to bad...it's not just the HSE specs that get changed around for different markets/countries.
In Spain (and I think all of mainland Europe), the SE spec doesn't have leather, heated/electric seats or hi-line audio etc (basically all the things that make it a SE in the UK ). Unfortunately, there's not much difference in price to the UK equivalent either 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Buckingham Blue

Yes, the price here too is not less than the UK price although the spec is lower. However I do have the things I actually need or will use so I shouldn't complain.

Aussie spec HSE does not some with SATNAV at all, not does it have the diff lock as standard. I stand to be corrected, but I think the top oe the range radio is also extra. Does come with leather though. There is also a premium of AUD $ 5000 for the V8, whereas in South Africa the V8 and TDV6 SE/HSE were the same price.
