[Withdrawn] 2005 Landrover Discovery HSE
Hi All,
Have made the decision today to sell my disco 3. i bought it last october. All of you that have been following will know that i had it health checked after a private purchase. the health check showed up a nice big list. I Have spent the last few months putting things right. i am at at the stage now i was about to refurb my she alloys and give the outside a bit of a face lift.
Have one big problem. Health! just out of hospital after 2 weeks. problems with my Pancreas and Liver so i just don't have the time or energy to finish it off. The disco tased its mot in january with flying colours. i have a a lot of bits and bobs to go with it including a full set of off road wheels and tyres, Snorkel (not yet fitted), new badges. i have a set of disco 4 rear lights which have not been fitted yet. i have fitted front light protection but not fitted the rear yet. £8500 o.n.o.
The top picture have my off road wheels and tyres that i fitted for the winter. the HSE wheels do need a refurb but all have decent tyres.
Mileage is just over 100,000
Just had a major service
Belts were changed by the previous owner
It is the lower tax bracket disco as it is before april 2006.
Anyone interested in purchasing pm me
cheers

A good question..
I was wondering the same about mine...
It is possible that this is not the best forum for selling Discos? Given many on here already have one (having said that I sold my last two on here)...
There is a bit of noise about at the moment ref Diesels and us 4x4 drivers are killing the planet.. so prices look to have softened a bit....
just my 2p worth .. as I'm in the same boat ...
Good Luck with the sale 1 TR6 Rusting away quietly
1 FARR UTV SOLD
1 International Harvester SOLD
7 x D3 all SOLD
2 x D4 both SOLD
1 x Mrs D4 'Panther' SOLD
1 x Outlander van SOLD
1 continual stream of car parts and me living in the garage...

In a word yes
On the selling market ie eBay where people actually buy stuff this would go for around £4500-6500 depending on lots of factors including location. It may hurt but check we buy any car and add £1000-1500 for a good private sale price.Disco 3 HSE

Good luck with the sale, I hope the recent weather will have a positive effect on the value of D3s and 4s, if you are listing elsewhere I would promote it as a good low mileage vehicle (for the year) with the benefit of low tax for a D3
Must stop buying shiny toys....

Hello.
Yes. Due to bad health I have been in hospital. The disco is in my friends garage this week getting the silver alloys back on as most people seem to prefer them to the black ones I used.
If your interested in buying let me know
Cheers
