Next time I'll pick a smaller car - its the first time its had a "proper" wash in 2 & 1/2 years, its usually a one bucket with wash'n'wax or my freindly lithuanians round the corner.

Looking 8) there Al.
I'm sure it was worth all the effort.
Lovely wheels btw.I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.
Are they oneshot things, i.e use once and then have to get another one.
Do you wash the car first, then go over with this (I guess wet), then dry and polish?

Would recommend the actual meguairs clay bar. Feels like a bar of blue tac. You just break a piece of and use it with some detailer spray or even water with a little car shampoo. Once it has picked up the bonded contaminants you will see it is dirty and then start again with a fresh piece or fold it over.
I did try the clay bar glove a couple of years ago. The trouble is you can’t tell when it’s ‘dirty’ as the clay coating on the fabric is dark in colour. I was concerned that I was scraping the bodywork with the bonded contamination.
