Red Restricted Performance P1247 |
|
Evening All,
Had the infamous red restricted performance tonight.
Called LRA and they usefully send out and AA patrol, found P1247 boost pressure. Iβm assuming itβs a cracked inlet manifold but I guess Iβll leave it to Hunters Derby to replace what they want under the warranty and wait until they stumble across the cracked manifold..
Warranty runs out in early Aug so any parts changed will be awesome π
Does anyone have any other reasons for P1247?
Ive seen cracked manifold and turbo actuator.
Any info appricieated, now the anxious wait to see what hire I get π¬π, fingers crossed for a D5 or Velar, in reality I know it will a a DS or Evoque π© Disco4 MY16 SDV6 Landmark Black

Thought I would update this in case of future searches.
In the end they replaced a Turbo Pipe but as suspected they have also replaced the Inlet manifold due to cracking. Disco4 MY16 SDV6 Landmark Black

I have the same problem currently. Replaced mass airflow sensor and now about to replace the turbo boost solenoid. Although I suspect it is probably a cracked pipe as today I could hear a rushing noise down near the drivers footwell as the second stage of the turbo was starting to kick in just before the red light moment (an I don't mean a red light moment in a good way).
