Wild Tracks - Newmarket

Hi all,

I was bought a 4x4 arrive and play voucher for a Christmas present and I've finally gotten around to getting a date together for it.

Has anyone been to the Wild Tracks 4x4 place near Newmarket in Suffolk? Planning on taking my D4 around but seeing as I need to drive it home after I don't want it to be too extreme!

If anyone has any experience of it i'd love to hear it!

Hi

I went to this site a few years ago to let my son have a play in the Defender when he lived in that area.

It's fairly compact and you can choose the less challenging tracks but beware the water in the centre of the course, we were up to windscreen level! Fortunately the vehicle was more than capable but that would not be a route I'd take in the Disco...!

This is the old girl when we got home that day.....

Their website states 'No owner /drivers' at the moment....

Thanks for that Simon. It looks like an easy place to try my hand at some off roading. I rang them and spoke to them about the suitability of my car and they did talk to me about easier and more challenging routes around the course.

Looks like you had a pretty awesome time in the Defender and noted about the water. Don't really want to end up with a Censored engine!

I did call and give them the date to which they replied saying "it'll be open by then" so hopefully shouldn't be a problem. I will call the day before just to make sure though!
