Well after having a few issue's with the EPB, I have to say the outcome has left me very impressed with Guy Salmon in Portsmouth. At first I was a little p***ed off at being asked to pay for the EPB adjustment as I had only had the car 3 months and it had a full service when I bought it. I explained this to the dealer and they tried to get Land Rover to cover it under warranty, which they wouldn't. I tried myself and also didn't get much response from Land Rover.
Anyway Guy Salmon phoned the supplying dealer who had serviced the car when I bought it and they agreed to pay for the adjustment, which is also good service.
As I mentioned in my previous post, the dealers have basically been left to deal with the EPB design fault by having to service it more often than should be required.
Credit where it is due, they kept their promises. I bought a new Freelander from them a few years ago and their service then was good as well, even though they were called Wessex before.
