Keys not recognised!

Hey guys. So started the Disco up the other morning and left it to warm up (in New Zealand and its winter here). When I left for work the truck was not running so it had cut out in the 10mins or so it was left for. Will turn over but no juice so thought fuel pump. Ran diagnostics and it’s saying my keys not recognised. So it won’t let the fuel pump pump. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue before I have to put it on a trailer and have an hours drive over a snowy high mountain pass to the nearest dealership. Cheers

If keys are not recognised, the car wouldn't crank...

Hum any suggestions took it to my mechanic mate and that’s what he came back with. They are all about Land Cruisers over here so Discos are a bit advanced for them. Hence the thinking of going the mechanics at the dealership. Cheers.

does it still crank?

can you hear the fuel pump running with ignition on? listen under the right door. should run for 30 secs


is fuel available at the tyre valve at the rear of the engine ?
