ENGINE REPLACEMENT
Anyone got any recommendations for a trustworthy supplier and fitter of recon D3 engines (2.7 diesel)?
Mine has gone and I need a replacement pretty quickly, I don't want to be ripped off with extra work etc.

LandRover ones are around £5K with a 2 year LR warranty.

A decent scrappy would give you 3 months warranty, is it a year for brand new....
I went the scrappy route about 7 years ago, car is still going strong todayJoined the BMWX5 45e group

£2300 for the engine, had 60k on it, but that was before they all started going Joined the BMWX5 45e group

I was just in Elite Cars in Heaton Mersey Stockport, there was a RRS in there having a used engine fitted, body off and everything. Price was £6500joakes
