u0300-55 (ac) airbag code Can I update srs ecu software

Still messing about with this bloody srs light
Seen on ecu info that there is software update available for airbag ecu (on iid tool)

Tool also picks faults up on passenger airbag switch , then doesn’t

New switch fitted and exactly the same
Seat rail position sensor passenger and driver
Show as fault. Rearward

Crash data is set to normal (about 5 times I think lol)

I got a shiney new ecu on standby but reluctant to fit until I’m sure I’ve checked all other possibilities

But this is turning into the dreaded parts cannon..

New rotary coupling (although cc works better)
New passenger airbag switch
New ecu - yet to be fitted

New peltier (oh yeah that was for fridge)

Hi

Only thing I suppose I don’t understand is the U fault code, as they normally don’t mean anything and can be cleared

There normally B P or C

As when I had the fault codes I had whats below

Would it be worth getting a local airbag specialist to come out and looking at it for u in order to resolve it once and for all

Or email pat

Know that’s not much help to u
