[Wanted] AMG battery and or start/stop battery

Hi Folks

So the battery on my D4 is dead after 7 years so looking for a new/newish one and or the start/stop battery if anyone has one they are not needing etc.

Must be the AMG and start/stop version

"UNDERSTEER" ---is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" -is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" ------------is how far you take the fence with you.

Eightfoot, I know which battery to get and Halfords offer one for £195 plus fitting but just wondered if anyone on here had one they wished to move on 👍 "UNDERSTEER" ---is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.

"TORQUE" ------------is how far you take the fence with you.

To be honest, get a new battery with a warranty. Batteries are fickle things now, saving a few quid now on a secondhand battery will cost you long term.

Also think why any secondhand battery is likely to be have taken out..? 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Which one did you go for Martin, see the LR genuine one is about £395 with a 3 year warranty but the Halfords one is £195 and has a 5 year warranty? "UNDERSTEER" ---is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.

I run a D3 so different battery, but have used Halfords in the past.

It's half the price, and if you need the warranty (which is longer), there are many more Halfords stores around and they are open at more convenient times (i.e. you can get a replacement in the evening or on a Sunday).

I don't think Halfords do the stop-start battery [but I haven't checked], there are many threads on here with where to get the Exide(?) OE but non LR taxed one from. 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

I got a Yuasa AGM battery from Halfords for my ‘stop start’ MY14 D4, with a 5 year warranty from them.

I am not sure Tanya actually make batteries but just sell them?

Ordered a pair of matching Exide batteries (main and start/stop) yesterday off them and they arrived by 9am today and has Tanya stickers on them but are Exide batteries
