Help with fault code RESOLVED

This fault is now solved. It turned out to be the map sensor (the one in the y branch) but if anyone wants to read through the emotional pain I’ve endured this week or possibly laugh until a bit of wee comes out please read on.... Thumbs Up

Hi guys, short but brief, some codes that won’t clear, hdc fault won’t clear. Any help massively appreciated, she is booked for an mot at 4 ! I’ve had a look but can’t see what I’m missing.

Just for info body has been off, the parking brake emergency release got snagged up on removal would it have killed something ?
More than a bit worried now. Big Cry

If you have no warning lights on dash, just ignore them and take it for MOT. P codes you need to worry about.

Has it been driving OK since body put back on? Or have you only just completed that?

Only just completed the body back on work. Did notice the battery was a bit low. Should have put it on charge last night Embarassed it’s on charge now. I’ve checked all the plugs behind the battery for a bent or loose pin but can’t see any obvious fault.

OK could be the battery, you want to see 12.5v minimum. If still in the air go back over every socket and plug and check they are fully home! Keep the charger on the battery at low setting when you next attempt to clear the faults, alternatively if you have a jumper pack to hand you should be able to get the voltage above the magic number of 12.7v

Transfer box to body earth - check
Small earth in nsf wheel arch - check
Large earth in osf wheel arch - check.
Sure they were the only earths I disconnected.
Anywhere else I should be looking guys ? Could it be fear selector position related ? The stick moves freely between park neutral drive and reverse and all appear to work as in they do what it says. Goes backward in reverse goes forward in drive etc. Really getting worried now. I’ve had the multi plugs apart again behind the battery...

Earths could still be the problem... use some jump leads to create extra earth paths and try clearing codes again.

I’ll try that. The battery is on charge at the mo, it’s taking quite a big amperage to charge as it was quite down.
I’m thinking if it charges ok be a good idea to replace it. It’s only a year old Bosch silver.
Just got to play the waiting game now. Big Cry
Cleared the codes again before I took the battery off and this was the only relevant one...

I always get one for the mirrors and then there’s a code for the air con pressure which is ok as the air con is degassed at the minute.

Could this be the problem gents ? I’m sure the 2 right hand plugs on the tccm were left with the car so not disconnected. I was just going through the plugs and thought I’d better check them all. Something was nagging the synapses about water getting in this area and corroding plugs. lol and behold the only 2 I haven’t disconnected for the body off were green ! I’ve cleaned it all with contact cleaner and gently cleaned the pins. I’m just praying the module isn’t toast. Any thoughts guys ?
