10p off per litre of fuel ! |
|
according to my MoneySavingExpert email last night.
of course, I'd filled up Monday evening.
Quote: Tesco 10p/litre off fuel with £60 spend
Until Sunday 26 August, spend £60 or more at Tesco (in store or on online groceries) and you'll get a voucher for 10p/litre off petrol or diesel to use at a Tesco forecourt.
If you spend in store, your voucher will be valid for 14 days – if you spend online, you'll get your voucher when you get your shopping delivered and it'll be valid until Sunday 9 September. It can be used on one purchase of fuel only (up to a maximum of 100 litres).
Tesco's site says one petrol voucher will be issued per customer – however, Tesco has so far been unable to tell us how this will operate in practice, so you may find you get more if you do multiple shops. Find full terms on the Tesco website.
Anything to watch out for?
Not all spending is included – here's what's excluded: purchases at any Tesco café, tobacco kiosk, opticians, phone store and Tesco Bank, plus fuel, lottery products, gift cards, savings stamps, postage stamps, 10p carrier bags, prescription medicines, infant formula, wine by the case and travel money.
You can't get vouchers at Express stores selling Esso fuel, the Kirkwall and Lerwick superstores or on the Isle of Man. You can't redeem vouchers at Express stores selling Esso fuel, 'pay at pump' stations or on the Isle of Man.

I made full advantage when I did the weeks holiday shop and then filled the disco in Tesco filling station. I put £98.00 fuel in before the 10p off.
And my lie’o’meter tells me lemon is currently doing 19.4mpg. That was full bore camping loaded with roof box and 5 occupants with a knackered transmission. Jarrod

Mine said 25.4mpg … calculator says it's 21.9
But as tripmeter says I averaged 20mph … not surprising really.
