D3 Sat nav
So after having it awhile and now deciding that most people on here are right that the d3 sat nav is rubbish wondering if there is anything that can be done to it to upgrade it all. I have the latest disc in it but it’s still way behind and even though I first thought it ok it’s rubbish.
So does anyone know of anything can be done and who can do it. Really wanting something done that means I can still have it in the original location in car so not looking for a portable sat nav.
Cheers

Updated rubbish is still utter rubbish. Save yer money and think about GoogMaps, Thomas-the-Thomas or Garmin.

It's not the best one but it's probably 15 year old tech. I got a new map dvd which helps as it has more than 10 roads on it.

I have a 14-15 disc from a friend. The A1 now has roundabouts. The map are up to date ish but the base system is still old
I got a 2017 one from ebay. it was sent from Spain. Less than £30.
Works fine. Not sure what all the fuss is about. Gets me from a to b, even when I want to go to c.

My nav system keeps telling me "dvd read error" and then goes back to working whenever it feels like it. Cleaned the disc which looked ok and the dvd reader under the seat with no improvement. Hard to tell if it's the disc or player or if it's worth messing with really.

My nav just sits in the warming screen. The agree or world buttons don’t do anything. So wish you could have an apple car play type intergrated thing. The screen is a bit pointless.Jarrod
