| Torque converter clutch solenoid circuit performance |

Hello there,
While driving my 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 on higher speeds, I am getting this transmission error with code P0741-00, which reads torque converter clutch solenoid circuit performance or stuck off
My mechanic says I need to replace Gearbox valve body unit as he says one of the solenoid must be faulty. Kindly advise if this is the solution or should I suggest any other troubleshooting before I resort to his suggestion. Thanks in advance.
