IID and Start/Stop

Hi all.
It seems that since I used my IID tool, the start start/Stop system only acts vey very occasionally. Sometimes it doesn’t work for weeks.
Also after changing the CCF with the tool, it takes several minutes and i need to lock the car until the message Start/Stop is inactive“ disappears.
Only changes I made is to active the fuel burner heater. But I didn’t use it in the past month.
Any idea if this is normal?
Thanks

Change it back and see if this behaviour stops? I doubt that it would be the tool but it may be related to the FBH.

Start stop will stop working if your battery is low , or in a poor state and needs replacing. I assume it monitors the voltage in order to prevent you being stuck in traffic unable to start the car again as all that restarting the car will drain the battery

Normal, the ECO light is lit after any changes, once it’s gone to sleep, about twenty minutes, it will be extinguished on the next start.

I’ve had mine nearly 12 months and it has never worked and no warning light despite fitting a new auxiliary SS battery and the main battery reading 12.76v Very Happy

Mines always done it, started when Bodsy fitted the remote for the heater, he advised it probably would and it did, been like since.

Stop Start hasn’t worked for ten months, working now since LRA fitted a new battery ten days ago, even in a morning after its only been running a few minutes.
