[For Sale] 8.5ft x 4.5ft Trailer Project
I bought this trailer for 1 specific job of which I have done, then planned on doing it up.
But circumstances have now changed, I need the space as I am getting a car transporting trailer.
This is an Indespension Twin Axle Braked Trailer.
The bed is 8.5ft by 4.5ft Approximately with a drop down tailgate.
The metal is solid.
The floor seems solid.
However 1 wooden side needs to replaced as it is missing.
1 Mudguard went missing with the side, so brand new one is included but not fitted and hasn't got brackets with it.
3 wheels have 1 wheel nut each missing.
1 tyre is bald and loses air extremely slowly.
1 Wheel hub or bearing has play in it. (I towed it like this).
Although it has lights. They don't work and need to be replaced but the wiring is all there.
Brakes are not connected and the cables for the brakes are missing. I bought it like this.
This is as far as I have got with the trailer.
I towed this with my Discovery and the fasted I went was 55mph.
I will add, that this trailer is not legal to tow as it is, so you tow it at your own risk.
It is a project. I know these are worth 2 to 3 times what I am asking easily when done up. I just need the space.
The trailer will need to be collected from Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
I would like as much as I can get for it.
Asking price is £225 ono. I will listen to all reasonable offers.
