Beeping when braking and indicating

Hello,

Just noticed this in the last few days - perhaps when the temperature dropped but I'm not sure.

When I'm braking and use the indicator theres a beep beep beep that comes from the back of the cabin until the indicators go off. It's like a low level warning alarm with the beeps at one second intervals. Driving me nuts trying to figure out what it is! Has anyone heard this before? No warnings on dash.

2015 Discovery 4.

Thanks!

Does it sound like your rear parking sensor? Maybe a short in the loom so indicator is dropping power to the sensor return?

No it's a totally different beep - high pitched. I thought it was a airtag in my golf bag at first!

Do you have a towbar, at one time they used to fit a sounder for the trailer indicators, no need for them now.

I do, it sounded like it could be coming from where the electrics are connected in the rear nearside space. It only seems to happen when the jeep is cold and the first part of a long journey or for a whole short local spin. Have this Disco since April and only noticed this a few days ago since the weather turned cold.

No trailer in tow.

Dampness & corrosion which dries out on a longer journey. Are the trailer electrics genuine landrover or 3 party, might guess its a 7 pin plug? At least it happens when cold, should be easy to find.
