Very good decision Steve. Stay a size thats comfortable for both and pays the bills

What would or should I be looking at for cost of replacing the rear cam seal?

Apologies about all question but newbie

Thanks

Imran

Hi Steve

Everyone here saying body has to come off and if it can be done with body on, its better.

If you could do an exception and book mine in. Il drive down and drop it off. Make a weekend in London and pick it back up day after or something 😁

Thanks

Imran

There is no reason that the job can't be done with the body on. With the correct tools.
Tell them TOPiX shows you how. Very Happy

Spoke to servicing here and they can do it in situ and saying end of June as fully booked and its £1100 and seems very steep for 4 hours labour work

Any chance you can do it for the price you were saying and any sooner mate

Thanks

Imran

Hi Imran,

Daft as this might seem, if you're willing to travel and fancy a day out, give these guys a buzz

They have looked after all my Discovery's and now look after my daughter's D3. They really know their way around them and I believe were the main reason my Old Bus was the most reliable car I've ever owned.

They also have free loan cars and Bath is right next door so you can have a lovely day out. Thumbs Up

Dealers around here are £200 per hour, so there's £800 gone already!

Yeah same here most likely. And for a 4 hour job crazy charge for a £50 belt and £10 seal. Think this will be last Land Rover if costs for a simple seal change is like this
