Looking at this D3 - Advice Please

Hi all

A good friend is Looking at this D3 - https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=ht...2191852678

The seller sent this
The car has paperwork for the engine work and services up to the rebuild which inc 172,000 - engine rebuild, gearbox service, new suspension pump, new battery, new tyres, new brakes, body off & wax oiled, new winch, new windscreen, remapped and serviced since when it has its last MOT

I’d welcome any thoughts and recommendations on things to check. It seems a little sluggish on pull away? He’ll he doing about 4K year in it

Cheers

From the MOT history, I feel that whoever owned it prior to the Car sales buying it, only really sorted things when they were flagged up at MOT time. Doesn't seem as if much preventative maintenance was carried out, that would ring alarm bells for me and if it was me I would keep looking but only my opinion.

Tyres failing an MOT really shouldn't be happening.

Get a fault reader on it to see what’s been going, if no faults showing it’s been cleared so exercise even more caution. Thumbs Up
