Trying to sort an intermittent 'Phone removed' message which goes along with no audio, very intermittent.
Got my MOST loop and pulled the trim out of the boot, looped out the BT module and the module next door (TMC?), no change. Also looped out the amp and no joy.
Can anyone enlighten me as to what is before these in the circuit? Is it the head unit? Looking at the light down the cable it is flashing intermittently.
Cheers

Are you sure it is a MOST problem? Getting stuck in "phone mode" can be caused by a few different things. Don't know if the same can be said for "phone removed". Do you have a factory fitted phone kit for the old Nokia in the cubby box, or maybe an aftermarket phone kit fitted? Maybe check that the phone button on the head unit isn't stuck. While you are on, check the same on steering wheel buttons too. Worth a quick check anyway.

Will check those first, thanks, definitely worth a try. The symptoms are that probably half of the time I have no sound, and when I twist the volume control the volume doesn't change on the screen. Then randomly 'Phone removed' will come up and it will start working.
Factory bluetooth, but nothing in the cubby box, nothing aftermarket, all has been reconnected.
Must admit I was sure it was going to be the BT module, bit deflated that it made no difference

Tried fiddling with all the phone related buttons, sometimes works, sometimes doesn't, so pretty inconclusive.
When I press the Phone on/off button on the right of the centre console it displays 'No Phone Connected' but when the radio randomly chirps up states 'Phone Removed'.
Not a clue
