Hi,
dont think the hire car route will work for us, it is the only day we are thinking about heading out of the center so maybe not worth the pick up and dropping off time involved
Have had a look through the train option link and this might work better for us, gives more time there and start time would be more flexible
Have to have a look what the "Santa Cova Cave" is now as well, swmbo has already said she is Not walking to the top of the mountain another 300M or not

Hi,
decision made, we are getting the train then rack train, seems all straight forward enough and gives us more time to explore than a pre-organised trip
swmbo was pleased to hear that there is a classic car show on the same weekend
at this rate we will need Another long weekend Barcelona break

You’re missing a really fun drive up to the monastery! I’d almost forgotten taking a hired Citroen Xantia round all the hairpins a long time ago. Not one for nervous passengers though!

I was sitting "why the heck would you go to the Caribbean from Spain?!?"
Then the comment about the train really got me confused

Went by metro, then train, then rack train up to the monestry and fenucula train up to the top for a walk
It’s a long way down!!
A great day out set off at 10:0 and back in time for a beer and a rooftop sunset on the Raval
