fitting a Batwing or Foxwing on a ProSpeed roof rack
In deepest Wales this week for work and someone had a D3 with a Batwing on it - gave superb coverage and really easy to put up and down. I was much more impressed that I expected to be.
Has anyone fitted similar to a ProSpeed roof rack?
What I particularly like is the ability to have it mounted to the side of the car as apposed to on top - resulting in still being able to park under height restrictions etc.
Obvious challenge I see is the tubular build of the PS rack compared to the square section of others although I am sure this is get round able with a little fab.
Photos, advice or general experiences of trying something similar appreciated formerly Disco3Ben

Thanks Andy,
I have some of those mounted for my current Hannibal awning.
Trying to figure out a way of mounting it on the side rather than on top to minimise additional overal height.formerly Disco3Ben
Wanted mine side slung to cut the gap under the back plate when deployed, came up with these:
