Disco 3 through automatic car wash with light guards??
Hello,
Daft question, but has anyone put their vehicle through an automatic car wash when fitted with front and rear light guards? I assume the brushes will rip them off. No one seems to know, not even the chaps running the wash centre.
I generaly don't use these car washers but this time I don't have much choice due to a shoulder injury and very cold temperatures.

I put a Range Rover through a car wash once, just once, never again. The horizontal brush came down on the bonnet, and got stuck. I had to reverse out of the car wash to prevent any further damage.
If you care about your car, don't use car wash.Richard

I have used one twice recently and my l8ght guards were fine

Haven't you got one of those roadside handwashers, we have two and everyone in town uses them. Great job so much safer than a car wash.1955 SWB Series 1 86 inch

In the very few occasions my old bus has been washed I have been through a car wash with the front and rear light guards fitted and had no issues.New Defender L663 110 SE (known as Noddy!)
