D3 bonnet decals

For those of you who would like an A-bar but don't like the fact that it blocks the bonnet decals:

I guess you could always place these on the A-bar?

Not me selling.

Looks genuine enough to me.
Matches existing Bonnet decals in colour, profile and size.
Letters are even set in a curve for direct bonnet application.
Parts No: L319 'Land' 24286 & L319 'Rover' 24287.

Whatever, will do the job just fine for me.

Well, got my 'A' Frame fitted and I also fitted the Spots.
Bonnet Decals now fitted to 'A'Frame ... think it looks cool 8)
Trouble is, it seems if you have double vision, so ...
you need to remove the Bonnet Decals ... see below.

Did the decals come off easy?..fed up with trying to clean round mine.

Any tips ?..did they leave stuff stuck on the bonnet?

Thanks all for the positive comments.

Re removal of bonnet decals; not too difficult, just need a little patience and heat resistant fingers
Here's my step by step guide:-
1] Wash bonnet leading edge.
2] Use hairdryer [hot temp/low speed] to heat up a letter.
3] Using finger nails prize up edge of letter.
4] Insert a piece of slim hard plastic [old credit card] - keep heat on as you push plastic in and prize slightly - you cann't do too much of this as you'll melt the plastic.
5] When prized up slightly insert a very slim piece of wood [I used a spare slat from a wooded venetian blind. This wood takes over from the plastic].
6]Keep applying pressure whilst prizing off letter.
7]With fingers, remove excess adhesive material whilst still hot.
8]Repeat process with each letter.
9]When all letters are off, remove remaining adhesive with Methylated spirit.
10]Finally give a coat of wax.

By the way - your fingers will be a bit sore for a day!!
