Morning, I have the old invalid CD message on the stereo after aprox 1 min to 130 mins of the CD playing. This happens on all 6 CDs. The CD's load on eject correctly, there original CD's and I have already tried CD cleaners. I've checked the previous posts and photos of stripping the unit . But has anyone got more info on the cd player part strip its self and to what parts in the player requires cleaning that causes this fault. As the unit accepts CD's i don't think its the pins snapped off the plastic brackets.

I have this issue too. Couldn't find a fix but info I found was that it might be a dirty laser lens that can't be sorted with a CD type cleaning disc or the track the laser moves on is dirty, hence stopping at the same point each time. Both "fixes" require major dismantling which I started but chickened out of!
Tried buying a new (used) player and after 2 attempts gave up and bought myself an ipod touch.
It'll be great if you get it sorted and I'll be watching with interest but for now my car is a CD free zone!
