Hitachi compressor parts (now repaired) |
|
My compressor just gave up the other day. On taking it to bits the bearing on the end of the compressor connecting rod bearing has seized and I can get a replacement bearing for a nominal cost. In the disassembly I had to "Butcher" (technical term) the bolt that holds the connecting rod and bearing to the motor shaft. I cannot find a part number for this item so does anyone know the number and where I am likely to get a replacement if available.

It seems you cannot purchase this item separately, so it was out with a file and clean it up. Purchased new bearing #627-2RS (for roller skates) at a cost of $5 and put it all back together and it runs just like a bought one. This will be my spare compressor as the compressor I ordered arrived early. All replaced and working how it should, going up and going down.
