[Wanted] Discovery 3 Dog Guard for a guide dog |
|
I’m hoping there is a generous Disco3 fellow member, with a Discovery 3 dog guard.
After recently becoming a D3 owner and seeing our two girls grow older we will soon be supporting the guide dogs again with their foster caring.
It involves us looking after a guide dog when it’s not at school. As such the rules we are governed by say I need a dog guard.
This is where I’d like to tug at your heart strings, does anyone have a dog guard they are willing to pass on in the name of charity?
I look forward to hearing from anyone willing to help.
Best regards

As one of the Richest charity's in the UK and with a CEO earning close to £200k per year... I think I would be asking them for some support...
I 100% applaud and support your actions, but personally I find it difficult to 'support' the charity these days as they pay a LOT to the board, are one of the richest charities in the UK, have been fined for 'profiling and targetting' people to donate money and some of their training techniques are not as good as they might be in this modern age of positive reinforcement.
This is only my own personal view, and I know many do support the guide dog charitys.
TBH.. If I had a spare guard I would give it to you personally, because i appreciate what you are doing, and you are clearly a good person with a love of dogs.
Good luck with the search 1 TR6 Rusting away quietly

Shendley - are you still looking for one?
I recently sold my Disco as part of emigrating for work for a few years. I have one of the LR dog guards in the pile of landy bits I need to sell.
I’m also having to give up my two labs to a friend so also a dog lover.
I’ll be back in Fareham (nr Portsmouth) for a week from Sunday - if you can work out how to collect it from me and get it to you, you can have it.
