2007 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Auto Cairns Blue

Steering rack gator

Having issues with my power steering, first the o rings failed so I sorted that but now I have fluid coming out of the drivers side gator. Now the gator is split so can replace that but should it be full of power steering fluid or has the seal on the rack failed??

No, there should't be PAS fluid in the gaiter.

I think I knew that to be honest was just hoping it wasn’t the case, looks like it’s time for a new rack.
