[For Sale] Discovery 4 HSE Luxury 2014
With a heavy heart and a lot of deliberation I have decided the time has come to sell my Disco.
I have owned her from new and she has run faultlessly and has just turned 75,000 miles.
Finished in Santorini black with Ebony leather and diamond cut wheels.
Full LR service history together with a couple of months of extended warranty cover.
I will get a full 12 months MOT on the car once a sale is agreed as this isn’t due until April.
Being a HSE Luxury it has most of the toys included but as you can see it also has privacy, which was added after I purchased the car from stock.
I did place an order for a D5 but once I saw it in the flesh I didn’t have the balls to go through with the deal so I am jumping ship to a RRS.
Price is £23,500. Any questions please don’t hesitate to message me.
Thanks
Justin

Do you have the full spec list?
Or could you pm me the VIN number?
Thanks

Hi Phil
The car is a stock HSE Luxury with the addition of privacy glass and tow electrics.
It has panaramic roof with opening front section, electric windows, heated seats front and rear, memory sets, navigation, heated steering shell, adaptive lighting etc etc.
There wasn’t much to add from the option lists.

Ok
I spotted you retrofitted the Remote for the Parking Heater. Does it have a full size spare?
I was hoping for the Active Rear Locking Diff.. But coming to a conclusion that its a rarely spec'd option - especially on the Lux.
Where are you in Northants? I'm in Bicester and could perhaps pop round at the weekend if available..?

It doesn’t have a full size spare but these are easy to pick up.

In respect of the active diff I thought the general consensus was that it’s not really needed unless you are going to use it in extreme conditions.D4 HSE Lux - Santorini, Privacy, RLD Protector

Will do.. Apparently I need 3 posts to send a PM.!
I do a little light off-roading - I've got a discovery 2 V8 (retrofitted a Centre Diff Lock). Even on Mud tyres its pants off road worse still when towing a light trailer.
Also rebuilding my defender 90 for more hardcore stuff - I'll probably retrofit a rear Ashcroft differential.
In the fullness of time I can see this car towing a trailer across muddy fields. I'd like to do some touring in the Pyrenees/Morrocco - hence a rear locker would be an advantage.

Im amazed this hasn't been snapped up yet at this price, looks very tidy.
I was thinking of selling my wife's 2014 HSE with very similar miles but the thought of its value when comparing to this just depresses me.

Re: [For Sale] Discovery 4 HSE Luxury 2014
Good luck with the sale as it looks a lovely example.
Friend has looked round and been out in my D5 and as a result just got rid of his 2 year old RRS and brought a 9 month old D5. He has had it a couple of months and I asked him what he prefered as I was thinking of a RRS next.
he stated D5 all round is a far far better vehicle, better spec, better quality and the added advantage of 7 seats. His words not mine I would not go back to a RRS at any costMY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

Hi,
have you tried taking it around your local main dealers and ind that sell the same stuff
I have sold 3 cars direct to trade in the past for the same price as I had them advertised for privately with no interest
and
Neighbour has just had a p/ex price for their 14 plate HSE with a few less miles at £26k just a thought I know p/ex is all about cost to change not just p/ex value, but may be worth a few hours drive around

Thanks I will consider that as an option but as I say I’m in no real hurry or need to sell it unless the number is ok.D4 HSE Lux - Santorini, Privacy, RLD Protector
