Hi folks, after selling our disco 3 we are now looking at the disco 4. I’ve read a 2016 brochure that states the epb is intergrated into the caliper? Is this correct as the old system was the dreaded actuator in the middle near the rear axle. My question is did LR upgrade the later disco 4 with the new epb that works from the caliper? Just asking as this could affect which model year we go for. We did have 3 new modules on the disco 3 that cost a fortune. Any knowledgable members know of this? The force is strong with this one ......

I thought the D4 one was just the same. I've had 4 D4's all used off road a lot and not one has had a problem with the epb. As long as they are used often and serviced properly they don't seem to give a problem. Cheers Ian

You may have got brochure blindness, D4 is still the same, Discovery Sport it’s incorporated in the calliper.

Thanks for the reply. I thought as much it’s just the brochure I read said it was intergrated into the caliper. It’s not put me off getting one though. Cheers The force is strong with this one ......
