Battery life. I had this running on battery yesterday for a couple of hours, it held up OK but it is the original battery so degradation is inevitable.
Note that the outside of the lid is scuffed and marked (see Pic 1). Doesn't affect use.

What a great cause. This laptop is for my autistic son (no expensive devices for him as he tends to break them!) so it's helping a child with quite complicated SEN
