Retro fit memory function D4 |
|
I am almost certain I have seen a thread on this, but I cant find it
Fitted HSE memory seat, and it works in bursts. So I think I need to fit a wire or something.
Anyone point me in the right direction please?
Thanks

Ooooh.
So just to be clear, you just added the switches to the door panel and all was working?
Was the wiring already in the door?

Stephen, I’ll see if I have time to trial this with HSE door switches and GS door loom tomorrow (and IID) and report back. I am homing in on HSE door loom for my Highline + logic 7 update
Can you confirm CCF Updates needed?
Thanks

I also did the seat swap with memory pack for door and just plugged it all in and it works fine, but I did read when I was researching that some do work in quick bursts, passenger is plug and play and drivers (if I recall) needs to have 1 or maybe 2 wires switched around on the seat connector. Sorry I can’t pin point the post I read it from, 2015MY discovery 4 se tech with factory black pack.
With added
Rse, tv, electric memory seats, rear camera, heated steering wheel,
Headlight dip assist, remote FBH, led door light pack, easy lift kit, osram front fog/drl/active cornering lights. and whatever els I can find to do,

ran out of time Phil - I got the door card in with the memory module installed yesterday and then went to put the seat in with fading light and realised missing seat memory module which was somewhere in the house ... after then searching for an hour (and finding) I thought I'd be stupid to continue in the dark and had a glass of wine instead... so if weather is ok tomorrow lunchtime I might try again then ... and will post update when I do Stolen - D4 Loire Blue

Phil,
still not round to doing this yet .. .hopefully at the weekend
Have you seen this thread https://disco4.com/forum/discovery-3-cloth...68891.html
I'm expecting (but hoping not) for mine to work in bursts until I get an updated door loom in place that might send the right signal back to the memory module that all is good. If that fails then I think i'll look again at the wiring and if that fails have to do back to the splice mod above - but really want the memory function
