get a SiRF III Bluetooth GPS Receiver and a blutooth dongle - very useful combination
I got a cheapie bluetooth "Clip-on Fortuna" yonks ago and it has worked faultlessly. It has an XT function which often works inside the house . It is rechargeable using Nokia charger and lasts for ages on standard sensitivity; XT uses about 2.5 times the juice...2006 D3 finally swapped for a 2016 D4 Graphite in Graphite grey. No mods

I have a Bluetooth GPS receiver that charges from a USB and also communicates via USB at the same time http://www.wintec.com.tw/en/product.php?cate_id=22 The top one is mine and it also records a log so you can then download it onto Google maps and see where you have been. Just put one in the high level stop light as I was replacing it anyway. Not Bluetooth but took the cable down the trim in the corner. Will attach to the laptop in the back which will be controlled from a toch screen in the front.“There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€
