[Wanted] Lower tailgate support cable

Hello everyone.

I find myself in need of finding a lower tailgate LH cable support. When I brought my D3 it was heavily fraid and now it’s snapped.

Does anyone have one spare or point me to a good source to buy one. There are a few on fleabay but wanted to use the forum first.

The part you want is BHF780050 (LH) and for completeness right hand one is BHF780040. You should be able to get either from (any?) JLR parts supplier.

Since I’m relatively remote to the U.K. market I prefer to use something else than flea bay... and would compare prices across different sites. YMMV.
