Hi guys,
My rear prop shaft has snapped on my car, is it still able to be driven home if I remove it?

Don’t even try to move it without at least tiring it up so that it can rotate safely.
Hope this isn’t a wind up It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

LAst minute decision to do green lane’ing yesterday and got it stuck. A mate of mine jumped in to try free it and just heard a bang. Someone coming to pull me out, I’ll obviously remove it before driving but thinking the computer won’t be happy but surely I can drive it using front wheel drive only unless someone knows different.

It's still no, you can't
You can not manually lock the center diff. Rock crawl is the only mode that locks the centre diff.Richard

Neither Mut Rutts or Rock Crawl permanently lock the CDL - it is mostly locked but not all the time. The systems may detect a high rev drive to the rear and lock to cdl to send drive to the front but then it may not.
I agree with the "no" answer but give it a try and let us know.

I think it would be ok to shunt the vehicle around but i wouldnt use it o the road or to get yourself out of trouble if your stuck
As thread is 2 days old I'm guessing you got it home by now ? Did it drive or did you have to get recovered?.
